On Nov 26, 2024, we received a desperate call for help about an elderly dog suffering terribly. She was dragging herself due to fractures in her legs and living in unimaginable conditions. She was also battling severe vomiting and diarrhea.
At the scene, an elderly woman claimed the dog had been run over, but neighbors suspected her aggressive husband had caused the injuries. Both were taken to the police station.
However today, Dirce has an entirely new life! She was adopted into a loving home, where she’s safe, adored, and even has a Dachshund sibling. She’s gained weight, now at almost 19 pounds, and is thriving! She finally has the comfort and love she deserves in her final years. We couldn’t be more grateful!
