Last August, as we returned to the hotel after a long day at the sanctuary, a little cat came running up to us, meowing loudly for attention. We quickly realized he wasn’t feral… he was extremely friendly, neutered, and likely recently dumped, as many animals are at that location unfortunately.
We named him Oreo and couldn’t bear to leave him behind near the busy roads. He spent the night in our hotel room, cuddling up to us and craving affection. The next morning, our vet picked him up before we left for the airport, taking him to the hospital for tests and vaccinations.
After Oreo settled in at our cat hotel, Alê an incredible cat lover who help us a lot with our cats, quickly fell in love with him and decided to adopt him!
We are just over the moon for Oreo that he found such a wonderful home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life. Now, he can make all the kitty muffins he wants and soak up endless kitty cuddles. He’s such a loving boy and truly deserves this happy ending!
